Anjuman remembers Nargis Sitara
JAMMU, July 16: Anjuman Farogh-e-Urdu J&K Jammu in its literary meeting held under the chairmanship of its president Amin Banihali today paid tributes to Nargis Sitara, a poetess, on her ninth death anniversary.

He had left this world on June 9 , 2009. Amin Banihali recounted her head and heart qualities. He expressed that she would have been a good poet of the state had she lived and added to her poetic compositions.

Anjuman appreciated the move of the government for having made Punjabi language compulsory for the higher classes. It expressed that Anjuman is in favour for the propagation of all the languages of the state but the official language-URDU- should be given its due places at all steps and step-motherly treatment should not be meted out.
