Distt Rugby 7s Championship 2017 commences at Srinagar
JAMMU, Sept 8: The 10th district srinagar Rugby 7's is going on and the 30 teams in the girls and women section lock horns with each other.

In the under 10 girls , green valley educational institution beat Iqra International school with 5/0

In the under 14 boys Green valley beats Khanam educational institute with a huge score of 5/0 in the finals. Whereas in the under 17 junior girls presentation convent school thrash Green Valley insiltitute in the finals and emerge winner.

In the Junior under 19 girls down town rugby club beats Delhi Public School girls with a little margin 2/1 tries.

In the Senior Women's league matches Legends Rugby Club beats Belmount Rugby Club by 3/2 tries.

Sheikh Tulal Ahmad, Manager Bakshi Stadium sports council was the chief guest and witnessed some Rugby matches of different categories .

The details : U-10 girls :Green Valley winners and Iqra International runners up .Iqra international third.

Under 14 girls: Green Valley winners, Khanam educational runners and Roshan khanyal institute third.

Under 17 ( Juniors girls ) : Presentation Convent school, Green Valley institute and Growth Sports club.

Junior Girls ( Under 19 ): Down town Rugby club, Delhi public school and Presentation convent school.

Senior women : Legends Rugby , Belmont rugby and Presentation Rugby club.

Under 10 boys : Iqra International (Green ), Iqra International (Red ) and Iqra International (Blue).

The championship is being organized by J&K Rugby Association and Sponsored by J&K State Sports Council.
