Goenkans shine in District Wu-shu Championship

JAMMU, Sep 12: The students of G.D Goenka Public School, Jammu brought laurels for the school in District level Wushu Championship held at M.A Stadium recently.
Out of 17 students, 03 students won Gold medal, 02 brought Silver and 07 won bronze medal. The students who won Gold medals are Edhant Gupta, Shradha Manhas and Deevanshi Thakur. Silver medal winners are Boomesh Singh and Harsheen Kour Bhatia. The bronze medal winners are Raghav Sharma, Rhytan, Samarth Mahajan, Meetakshi Mahajan, Gunjal Chandail and Naina Gupta.
These medals are undoubtedly the precious by-products of devoting time and energy to the game, whereas the greater benefits reaped out of the game are always being equipped with firm determination, physical toughness, agility, discipline and self-confidence to take on every challenge of life.
The Principal of the school Rajesh Rathore congratulated and appreciated the efforts of all the medal winners and their coach Kanchan.
