GDC Paloura lifts overall Inter Collegiate Men’s Championship
JAMMU, Sep 12: GDC Paloura GDC Paloura won the overall Men Championship in the Inter Collegiate Fencing Championship, organized by the Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu, at the University Gymnasium Hall here.

Event Boys Sabre Team : Gold : GDC Paloura Team members: Parvinder Singh, Arun Kumar, Hardeep Bhagat, Vivek Singh . Silver : GDC Reasi Team Members: Saksham Singh, Rehban Seikh, Kamal Kumar, Gulair Singh.

Joint Bronze: GDC Poonch Team Members: Sachin Raina, Karanjeet Singh, Inder Preet Singh , Iqbal Singh and: GDC Udhampur Team Members: Abneet Kumar, Deepak Sharma, Karan Singh, Deepak Sharma

The Women Championship will be held tomorrow at the same venue at 10 a.m. followed by the award ceremony.

Football(Men): PG.Arts beat GDC Udhampur by 2-1. Goal scorer of P.G.Arts side :1st goal scored by Anuj Singh in 19th minute. 2nd goal scored by Aqil Rasool in the 50th minute. Goal scorer of GDC Udhampur side : 1st goal scored by Sandeep Rana in 14th minute .

GCET,Jammu beat GDC Samba by (6-5) in tie breaker : Goal scored from GCET College side :Mohit, Adnan, Tabish, Nasir , Zuhan and Sahil. Goal scorer of GDC Samba side : Bhanu, Rishab, Arun, Nitish and Ami. t

MAM College beat GDC Poonch by 3-1 through tie breaker: Goal scorer of MAM College side : Virender Singh, Diljit Singh, Bhanu. Goal scorer of GDC Poonch side:Zahoor Elahi.

MBS College beat MIET College by (4-2). MBS side scorer : Vasu converted three goals in the 3rd, 46th and 49th minutes and 4th goal scored by Jaggu in the 57th minute.

MIET side scorer: 1st goal scored by Dheeraj in the 22nd minute, 2nd goal scored again by Dheeraj in the 45th minute.
