Militant arrested in Anantnag: Police

SRINAGAR, Sep 20: Police today said a Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militant was arrested by police in Anantnag district.
Adil Ahmad Bhat, son of Ghulam Qadir Bhat, resident of Jablipora Bijbehara was arrested at Wanpoh railway station. He is a C-category militant, the police said.
However, Hizbul Mujahideen said that Adil Ahmad of Jablipora has no association with it.
Hizb Operational spokesman Burhan-u-Din in a tele-statement to local news agency KNS said that Adil was not associated with Hizb.
