CRPF officer, 2 others injured in Qazigund attack

SRINAGAR, Oct 7: Militants this evening attacked CRPF at Mir Bazar Qazigund injured two security men including an officer.

Reports said the incident occurred at around 6.30 PM. The attack was carried on a CRPF party near Malpora in Mir Bazaar area of Qazigund on the Srinagar-Jammu highway. One of the injured was identified as sub-inspector (SI) Anwar Ali.

The injured were removed to hospital where from they were referred to army base hospital Srinagar for specialised treatment.
