Haris Sohail's name taken with Richie Benaud's economic spell
BIPIN DANI
MUMBAI, Oct 11: There have been only three bowlers who have conceded one run or less in one over of the Test inning and grabbed three wickets. Pakistan's Haris Sohail is one among these three.

In the last pink ball D/N Test against Sri Lanka (Dubai), the 28-year old slow left arm orthodox spinner Haris conceded only one run in the final over (his only over in the inning) of Sri Lanka second inning batting and he took three wickets (Rangana Herath, Kusal Mednis and Nuwan Pradeep).

The other two bowlers-South Africa's Andrew Hall also conceded one run and took three wickets, whereas, Australia's Richie Benaud is the only bowler who didn't concede a single run but took three wickets in one over.

Haris Sohail's uncle, Muhammad Rafi Sony, who has been Haris Sohail's mentor all these years, is over the moon for this achievement.

Speaking exclusively, he said, "well we are very much pleased and relived by his great achievement in World Test Cricket".

"My nephew's name has been written amongst legends like Richie Benaud for such as economical bowling analysis".

Though, Haris took three wickets with first, fourth and sixth deliveries of his only over in Sri Lanka's second innings (96 runs), the family has no regret for not being a hat-trick achiever.

"No, we have absolutely no regrets at all, but this could become a huge Celebration if Pakistan could win this Test against Sri Lanka", the uncle and mentor signed off.
