Inter Collegiate Volleyball tourney 2017-18
PG Deptt to meet the GCW Parade in final

JAMMU, Oct 12: PG Department to meet the GCW Parade in the final of the ongoing Inter-Collegiate Volleyball(Women) Tournament 2017-18 organized by Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu at University Sports Stadium.

Earlier in the 1st semi-final GCW Parade outplayed GDC Poonch in straight sets(3-0) with set score 25-6, 25-17 and 25-10 while PG Department defeated the defending champions GCW Gandhi Nagar by (3-0) sets with set score 25-20, 25-19 and 25-11 respectively.

Prof Avtar Singh Jasrotia Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest of the function and witnessed both the semi-finals in the presence of Kuldeep Magotra(CEO Volleyball Federation of India), Prof Kamaljeet Singh, Sudesh Bhagat, Dr Vinod Bakshi, Suman Lata,.Jai Bharat, Raj Kumar Bakshi, Ravish Vaid, Akbar Ali and Vikas Karlopia.

The matches were officiated by Romesh Singh Jasrotia, Amit Sharma, Naresh Kumar and Mulkh Raj. The final match of the tournament will be played on 13-10-2017 at 10.30 a.m.

Kabbadi(Women): The details: 1st Semi Final : GWC Gandhi Nagar beat GCW Udhampur by 42 points (53-11). PG Department beat GDC Kathua by 11 points(33-22)

The match officials were Dheeraj Sharma, Keshav, Manpreet, Amandeep, Rohit and Gagan Kumar.
