GMHSS Doda bring laurels to J&K at National School Games 2017

DODA, Nov 16: Green Model Hr Sec School Doda made the institution as well as Doda District proud by winning the prestigious medals in Hupkwondo at 63rd National School Game 2017 which was held at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
As per reports, it is for the first time in the history of chenab valley that the students have bagged two silver medals which is the proud moment not only for the school but also for the whole state in general and Doda District in particular.
In the event, Krishma Devi and Akshara Singh got the silver medals whereas Hina Malik and Mehak Kotwal got the bronze medals in this national level championship besides Suneha Devi, Anchal Parihar, Saba Malik, Ayan Shakeel and Karan Manhas were among otrhers who also participated in this event held at Bhopal.
Principal GMHSS Doda O P Chandail felicitated the champions and other students as well as congratulated them for their glorious achievement in National School Games 2017. Chandail appreciated the efforts of the team saying that our students played with full spirit, vigour and enthusiasm and emerged as winners of the event. The Principal also appreciated the efforts of their team coach Bharat Bhushan for his training to the students.
It is worthwhile to mention here that apart from providing quality education, the Green Model Hr Sec School Doda is being given the students maximum facilities to explore various genres of sports as per their interest and capabilities so that they get a platform to explore their talent in sports.
