JSS students win medals in State Speedball Championship

JAMMU, Dec 4: Jammu Sanskirti School, Jammu Students won medals in the 9th State speedball championship organized by J&K Sports Speedball Association which recently concluded at Teachers Bhawan, Gandhi Nagar.
About 1500 students drawn from various districts of J&K participated in the event. The Chief Guest for this event was DGP Dr SP Vaid.
Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu students brought laurels by winning 51 medals in all i.e. 10-gold, 15-silver & 26 bronze. On behalf of the school; Principal cum vice-chairperson of the school, Rohini Aima received the award trophy for “Big School Team of the Year” from the chief guest. She said that ‘There is no end to education. It is not that you read in books, pass an examination & finish with education.
The whole of life, from the moment we are born to the moment we die, is a process of learning.’ DGP Dr SP Vaid also appreciated the efforts of speedball organisation in preparing students to emerge as national & world level players of speed ball. He appreciated the students and staff of Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu for providing inspirational activities & opportunities to its students in all areas of educational excellence, may it be studies or actions in daily life.
