MV International School bags overall State Speedball trophy
JAMMU, Dec 6: MV International School has added another feather in its cap by lifting the ‘Best School Team Trophy' for the session 2017-18 in the recently conducted 9th J&K State Speedball Championship.

It was a moments occasion for the school team when they held this coveted trophy for 5th successive year. MV International School has been winning this trophy ever year and is emerging as champion performer since 2013. In this year's tournament MVIS team gave its best performance by receiving 10 gold, 8 silver and 27 bronze medals.

The medal winners were felicitated in a glittering function organized by Speedball association at the Teachers Bhawan, Gandhi Nagar Jammu. Gourav Abrol, Director MVIS & K L Dogra, Principal MVIS received this trophy along with the students from the Chief Guest Dr SP Vaid, DGP J&K Police in presence of the members of J&K Speed Ball Association.

It is pertinent to mention here that all reputed schools of J&K participated in this event to display their skill & speed during the event. Gold medal winners for MV International School were Manyta Sambyal (2ndA), Kritagya Singh (3rd C), Namandeep (3rd A), Usha Manhas (4th A), Aditya Sharma (4th A), Ashutosh Vaid (4th B), Adhi Digra (6th B), Danish Basotra (7th B), Kartik Digra (7th B) & Goutam Sharma (7thC). Silver medal winners were : Ashwain Sambyal (2nd A), Apeksha Gupta(3rd D), Sandeep Singh(3rd A), Suhani Singh (3rd A), Hariyansh Kumar (4th A), Ansh Choudhary (4th C), Vansh Choudhary (5th A) & Aradhya Sharma (5th C). Bronze medal winners were : Manyta Nanda (2nd A), Aakriti (2nd A), Rushil (3rd D), Jashandeep (3rd D), Samriti (3rd D), Aryaveer (3rd D), Nitin (3rd B), Arun (3rd B), Ankita (3rd A), Vedant (3rd A), Dharyaveer (3rd A), Amritpal (3rd A), Vansh (3rd A), Harshita (3rd A), Smiksha (4th B), Amit (4th B), Aman Singh (4th C), Mitanjay (4th C), Aryush (4th C), Harikesh (4th C), Anmol (5th B), Vaibhav (5th B), Pupinder (5th B), Manas (5th C), Hanas (5th C), Jatin (6th C), Rhdyam (7th B) & Ankit (3rd A).

Leh records coldest night of season
