Nikhil Manhas brings laurels to J&K

JAMMU, Dec 12: Jammu lad Nikhil Singh Manhas son of Devinder Singh Manhas hailing from remote village Jhang Tehsil, Ramgarh of Samba has returned home after giving his best performance at Australia in football school pacific game India under 16-category who among 36 players boys and girls represented India among 80 countries worldwide.
Warm reception was given him at Jammu airport today by his family members and Sports fans by presenting bouquets. All present guests expressed happiness on safely returned and for such a splendid performance in game.
Nikhil started his education from here and further joined at ST Thomas School Kalkaband presently studying in 11th STD at CRPF Public School Dwarka, New Delhi being his father serving in CRPF as head constable. Nikhil has already won many awards which include gold medal in football tennis, from Bhutan, Delhi Dynamos Football Club, IYSA football Academy, South Best Football Club, AIFF U-15 youth League.
It’s a matter of proud to family and Jammuites in particular who raised the head high of J&K state. He gives full credit to his parents who supported him.
Ram Singh Manhas, Harnam Singh Manhas-President All India Manhas Sabha, Rampaul dogra social activist, Baldev Singh Sarpanch Jhang, Kewal Singh, Sushil Kumar and others were also present on the occasion.
