Jail inmate dies of ‘hemorrhage’

SRINAGAR, Jan 6: An inmate of sub-jail Baramulla in north Kashmir died due to “brain hemorrhage” today.
Identified as Ghulam Nabi Bhat son of Abdul Khaliq (45), a resident of Hakbara, Hajin, Bandipora, he was immediately taken to hospital after he complained of severe headache, a police officer said.
The doctors in the hospital, however, declared him brought dead on arrival, the officer said.
The deceased was arrested several months back in a murder case and was lodged in sub-jail Baramulla.
The officer said that Bhat died to due to brain hemorrhage.
