SRINAGAR, Jan 11: Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) has corrected the error in the grade sheet of pellet victim Insha Mushtaq, who passed the 10th class examination.
The grade-sheet of Insha read “qualified but to improve” and was declared “failing in mathematics.”
In fact, Insha had opted for music instead of mathematics after she was blinded by the pellets.
A senior officer of BOSE said the enrolment of Insha was done in the early months of her 9th class where she had opted for mathematics.
“But at the later stage she met with the unfortunate incident and used our provision to opt for music instead of mathematics. But the change in subject was not updated in computer based data,” she said.
The officer said the error in marks sheet of Insha Mushtaq was rectified, hours after the declaration of class 10th results on Tuesday.
