Drug peddler arrested in Awantipora

SRINAGAR, Jan 14: Awantipora police Sunday arrested a drug peddler and recovered nine kilograms of cannabis from his possession.
A police party of Police Post Reshipora apprehended one person identified as Azad Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Maqbool Dar resident of Renzipora during a naka checking at Renzipora. Nine kilograms of cannabis was recovered from his possession.
Awantipora police registered a case FIR number 06/18 under section 8/20 NDPS Act and investigation was taken up.
