Sports event organises by Srinagar police
JAMMU, Feb 7: Srinagar police has organized a sports event under civic action programme at Government Higher Secondary School Budoo Bagh Khanyar.

The event was inaugurated by SDPO Khanyar Raja Zuhaib. SHO Khanyar Shri Parvaiz Ahmad was also present on the occasion.

Hundreds of youth & students of Khanyar and adjacent areas participated enthusiastically in the event. Various games including basketball, Volleyball, Carrom, Chess Badminton & Martial arts were played on knock-out basis.

The participants were encouraged by the SDPO Khanyar & SHO Khanyar, besides, winners were suitably awarded.

The aim of organizing such events is to impart and inculcate the sense of discipline, sportsmanship and camaraderie among the participants.

J&K retains assessment powers under GST
