MSCC wins cliff hanger on last ball cricket tie

SAMBA, Feb 11: In a nail-biting friendly cricket match played at Samba Stadium, Mohinder Singh Cricket
Club trounced Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club (SKCC) by six wickets.
After winning the toss, SKCC, led by Aman Cheema, chose to bat first and added huge 173 runs’ target on board in twenty overs with the loss of eight wickets.
Sumeet and Pankaj Khajuria of SKCC made highest 33 runs off 26 balls and 26 runs off 18 balls for the team. Anil langeh also chipped in with 24 runs off 19 balls
Romi and suraj of MSCC took highest two wickets in his four overs’ spell. Shiva and Mukesh took one wicket each for the team.
Chasing the target, MSCC, led by skipper Rajeshwar singh chased the target by hitting a splendid four on 2nd last ball of the twenty overs’ match.
Sunil hit highest 62 runs in 49 balls for the team while, Rahil hit second highest 34 in 30 balls.
For SKCC, pankaj, happy, jimmy, Udesh and shahrukh took one wicket each for the team.
Sunil of MSCC declared as man of the match.
