| | Militant killed in Sopore accident | | | SRINAGAR, Feb 12: Police today said a militant was killed in a road accident in Sopore.
SSP Sopore Harmeet Singh the deceased as Owais Ahmad Mir, son of Bashir Mir, a resident of Brath Kalan Sopore.
He told media that the identity of another person killed in the accident at Warpora was being established.
According to GNS news agency, Mir had joined militancy only a fortnight ago.
The mishap occurred when a speedy motorcycle skidded during snowfall on road. The militant was travelling on the motorcycle.
