Omar reminds Mehbooba of her statement

SRINAGAR, March 8: National Conference (NC) Working President, Omar Abdullah on Thursday reminded Chief Minster Mehbooba Mufti about her assertions made on the floor of assembly vis-à-vis case involving an army officer in the firing incident at Ganowpora in Shopian in which several civilians were killed.
“Army version differs from that of the government, I would like to remind the Chief Minister about her commitment made in the assembly that the case will take taken to its logical conclusion, what happen to her commitment?” former Chief Minister questioned.
He expressed surprise over assertions of the state government in Supreme Court saying what was written in FIR is known to everyone.
“Gone are the days when people were refused to provide copy of FIR, we live in social media world today you can have the copy of FIR, but I am surprised as to what the state government told Supreme Court,” Omar told reporters after visiting the family of late Khwaja Muhammad Afzal Sathoo to condole his demise and express solidarity with MLA Pahalgam Altaf Kaloo.
He demanded that the people and the opposition be apprised about the facts and circumstances of the issue.
