NIA detains Salahuddin’s sons for questioning

SRINAGAR, Mar 14: National Investigation Agency (NIA) today picked up three sons and the son-in law of Hizbul Mujhadeen chief Syed Salahuddin for questioning.
Reports said that the questioning was done in connection with funding case.
NIA detained the elder son of Syed Salahuddin, Shakil Ahmed, Javaid Ahmed and Mohammad Moieed. NIA also picked up Mohammad Umar, the son-in-law of of Salahuddin.
Reports said all the four were detained and questioned by NIA team at their Srinagar based office.
Javaid Ahmed was released after questioning while the rest of the family members were still in the custody of NIA till the reports last came in.
Shahid Yousuf, another son of Hizb chief, was arrested by NIA and is in Tihar Jail now.
