Work to remain suspended in schools, colleges

SRINAGAR, Apr 8: The authorities today ordered that class work will remain suspended in some higher secondary schools and colleges in Valley tomorrow as a precautionary measure.

However, primary and high schools will remain open.

Officials said the class work will remain suspended in all the degree colleges of Srinagar tomorrow. However, all schools will function normally.

The authorities from Shopian said all the higher secondary schools and colleges will remain closed tomorrow and class work will remain suspended as well. But schools up to high school level will remain functional.

Class work will remain suspended in all higher secondary schools and colleges in Sopore division of Baramulla district. Rest of the educational institutions will remain functional in the district.

The district administration Kupwara has decided to suspend class work in government degree college Handwara.

All schools and colleges in Pulwama town will also remain closed tomorrow. But educational institutions in rest of the areas of the district will remain open.

In Ganderbal and Anantnag districts, all schools and colleges will remain open tomorrow.
