Students protest in Anantnag, seek justice in Kathua case

ANANTNAG, Apr 16: Hundreds of students of boy’s degree college Anantnag and Women's college Anantnag on Monday held massive protests demanding justice to the eight year old rape and murder victim.
At degree college (Boys) Anantnag hundreds of students assembled in the premises of the college and held protests in support of victim. Carrying banners and placards, the protesting students marched within the college premises as the college authorities did not allow them to move out of the college. The protesting students, witnesses said, were raising slogans. The students were also demanding death to the rapists and murderers.
Hundreds of girl students from Women's college Anantnag took out a massive protest rally seeking justice to the rape and murder victim.
Carrying banners and placards the students assembled in the college premises and then marched out of the college. Chanting slogans the protesting students marched up to the business center Lal Chowk and dispersed peacefully from there.
