DGP presents prizes among winner of NZ Cricket tourney for deaf

JAMMU, Apr 23: Director General of Police Dr SP Vaid today distributed prize among winner and runners-up teams of 7th North Zone cricket tournament for deaf held at Gandhi Memorial Science College here today.
Dr Vaid on the occasion interacted with the players through interpreter and distributed prizes among the players. He commended the organizers for this initiative and wished the players good luck for the future.
The tournament which began on 18th of this month was hosted by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association of the Deaf in which various teams of specials players participated.
The DGP was presented a memento by the organizers on the occasion.
