Army organises kabaddi competition at Kishtwar

JAMMU, May 9: Continuing the effort of nurturing sporting talent of Kishtwar youth and encouraging the young minds of the district to participate in constructive activities, Indian Army organised friendly Kabaddi Matches at Padhyarna, Kishtwar.
A total of three teams participated in competition. Kabaddi being a very popular sport in the region, locals specially youth turned out to participate with great zeal and enthusiasm. The winning team was suitably rewarded for their efforts. Army in its endeavor of promoting sports and a healthy life style has been organising sporting activities for the youth in the remote and far flung region of the state of J&K.
