‘Infiltration bid foiled’; 3 militants killed: Army

SRINAGAR, June 6: Army today claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid by killing three militants in Machhil area of Kupwara in north Kashmir.
An army spokesman in Srinagar said three militants were killed while they were trying to infiltrate into this side of the Line of Control in Machhil.
He said searches are being conducted in the area. “More details are awaited,” he said.
