4 feared dead in road accident near Zojila

SRINAGAR, Jun 10: A car met with a road accident near Z-morh Zojila on Srinagar-Leh highway this evening.
Four persons were feared dead where as another is said to be critically injured.
Reports said that the mishap occurred when a car JK06-0896 moving from Kargil to Sonamarg skidded off from the road near Shiv temple and rolled down around 300 feet deep gorge near Baltal apprehending.
The people feared dead are residents of Akad area of Seer Hamdan Anantnag.
The injured identified as Abid Ahmad Wani of Seer-Hamdan Anantnag was rushed to PHC Sonamarg where from he was referred to SKIMS.
A police official said a police party from Sonamarg police station has rushed to the spot and have started rescue efforts.
