O P Sharma to attend ' Kashmir World Film Festival’

JAMMU, Jun 17: O P Sharma, Director Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu has been invited to attend 7 days 'Third Edition' of Kashmir World Film Festival at Srinagar as per the invitation received from Mushtaaque Ali Ahmad Khan, Festival Director, KWFF.
The Festival will start on June 19, 2018. Prior to that, he will attend the meeting of 'Advisory Board' of the Festival on June 18, 2018 in the evening.
O P Sharma is the Director of Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu which is working for the promotion of art, culture and languages. JKCCA was established way back in 1999 by some art lovers and enthusiasts to preserve promote and activate the splendid art heritage of Jammu & Kashmir and stimulate & rejuvenate it into a blossoming art movement. Its three pronged strategy is unleash the progress of languages, literature and other fine arts.
It is a matter of satisfaction that the NGO has so far organized hundreds of such activities within and outside the state including art exhibitions, cultural events, seminars, music concerts, national art camps, book release functions, felicitation events of artists and writers, talent hunt events, demonstration programmes of art forms in and outside the state.
JKCCA has successfully organized two International Art Exhibitions during December, 2015 and January, 2017 at Kala Kendra, Jammu. The exhibitions drew tremendous attention of the artists, art community, public and the media.
O P Sharma has participated in many International and National art exhibitions and camps. He has also been decorated with various awards and honours.
