TFI congratulates JKTA for results at International Level

JAMMU, Jun 18: The Lone Para Asian Gold Medallist from J&K Chandeep Singh and his Coach and International Player and Referee Atul Pangotra were given a warm welcome at M A Stadium by the Players VAOT and AITA at MA Stadium Jammu.
On this occasion President J&K Taekwondo Association DN Pangotra, General Secretary Jagjit Singh and Organizing Secretary Anuj Sharma along with other office bearers were also present on this occasion.
They appreciated the performance of Chandeep Singh who was earlier a player of Skating and within few months, under the training and guidance of International Player and Coach Atul Pangotra was able to clinch Gold and Bronze medal in Asian Para Taekwondo Championship held at Vietnam.
While talking to media Chandeep Singh told that all his efforts came from the time to time encouragement and efforts of his coach which taught him techniques to excel in such an international event and was able to defeat Korea in the finales which is a dream come true.
Atul Pangotra appreciating the endurance and never dying attitude of Chandeep told that he is eyeing on world championship and Para Olympics and will try his best to bring up Chandeep for these big events.
Meanwhile President Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI) Chetan Anand and General Secretary Prabhat Kumar Sharma congratulated JKTA for the great performance by Chnadeep Singh and the overall performance of Coach Team India Atul Pangotra who has given result for India from the last 4 years in International events.
