Kapil lifts 20th Didi Bhangal Dangal Title-2018
JAMMU, Jul 7: Wrestler Kapil of Guru Hanuman Akhara Delhi lifts “20th Annual Didi Bhangal Dangal Title 2018” by defeating Wrestler Vikas of Harayana in the main first malli bout that lasted for 08 minutes at village Didi Nagani in KatraTehsil and Reasi District.

Dangal was organized by Didi Bhangal Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association under the overall supervision of President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma, chairman Dangal Committee Trilock Chand and Former Sarpanch and President Krishan Singh (Pappu) Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council Shiv Kumar Sharma who is also Treasurer Indian Style Wrestling Association of India, President J&K Indian Style Wrestling association, Associate Vice President Wrestling Federation of India and President Senior Citizens Welfare Forum Katra was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed cash

prizes of Rs 1,50,000 among the Wrestlers.

Chairman Nav Durga Trust Bhangal Trilock Chand, Former Sarpanch Krishan Singh (Pappu), Z.E.O Reasi KakaRam, President Reasi District Bhagat Biradari Surinder Kumar and Vice President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri) were the guests of honour.

Winner of Ist malli main bout Wrestler Kapil was cash awarded with Rs 12,000 by chief guest Shiv Kumar Sharma, Trilock Chand Master and Sarpanch Krishan Singh while runner-up Wrestler Vikas got Rs 10,000 by Z.E.O Kaka Ram, Numberdar Ram Singh and Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri).

40 bouts were played in the one day long dangal Nav Durga Trust Bhangal through his chairman Master Trilock Chand contributed Rs 21,000 as financial assistance to the organizer and Numberdar Ram Singh contributed Rs 5,100.

The second malli bout was won by Wrestler Ranjit Singh of J&K Police of Jammu who defeated Wrestler Ajay Kumar Sharma of Landen Power House Udhampur in a very much interesting bout that lasted for 14 minutes. Winner Wrester Ranjit was cash awarded with Rs 9,000/- while runner-up Wrestler Ajay Sharma got Rs 6,000.

The third malli bout was won by Kulbir Singh of Kot Bhawal, Akhara Domana Jammu who defeated Wrestler Shivam of Delhi. Another 3rd malli bout was won by Salman Khan of Chopra Shop who defeated Wrestler Kulbir Singh of Danda Bagan. 4th bout was won by Gopal Sharma of Jindrah who

defeated Dillar Khan of J&K Police of Jammu. 5th bout was won by Rajesh Sharma of J&K Police, resident of Jindrah who defeated Dilbir Singh of Danda Bagan (Reasi).

Members & Technical officials who helped for the smooth conduct of dangal included Trilock Chand Master (Chairman), Krishan Singh (Pappu) (Ex. Sarpanch), Numberdar Ram Singh, Karan Singh, Ashok Kumar, Panch Harnam Singh, Sujan Singh, Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri), Deepak Wazir,

Prahald Singh, Sunny Sharma (Airtel), Pawan Singh, Tulinder Kumar & Murli Dhar (Munna).

Soldier injured in Pak sniper firing along LoC in Rajouri
JAMMU, Jul 7: An Army jawan was injured when he was reportedly hit by a Pakistani sniper firing from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri today.
