PDP refutes reports about Madni’s resignation

SRINAGAR, JULY 07: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has refuted the rumors that Party’s Vice President Mohammad Sartaj Madni has resigned from his present position.

In a statement PDP Chief Spokesperson Rafi Ahmad Mir has said that reports splashed on social media about the resignation of Madni as Vice President are baseless and just a figment of imagination.

Soldier injured in Pak sniper firing along LoC in Rajouri
JAMMU, Jul 7: An Army jawan was injured when he was reportedly hit by a Pakistani sniper firing from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri today. Officials said that the soldier was manning a forward post at Pokhra in Kalal area of Nowshera sector and received a gunshot injury from across the border, apparently from a Pakistani sniper, they said.
