Curfew restrictions in Srinagar parts today

SRINAGAR, July 7: The district administration has decided to impose restrictions in parts of Srinagar city on Sunday in view of second death anniversary of slain militant commander Burhan Wani.
An official in the district administration said that restrictions would be imposed in areas falling under the jurisdiction of Khanyar, Nowhatta, Safa Kadal, Maharaj Gunj, Rainawari, Kralkhud and Maisuma police stations.
He, however, said that partial restrictions would be imposed in Maisuma and Kralkhud.
The official informed that the roll number slips of the candidates scheduled to appear for different exams on Sunday will be treated as curfew passes.
Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik has called for complete shutdown across the Valley on Sunday.
Wani was killed in a gunfight along with his two associates in Bumdoora village of Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on July 08, 2016.
