‘Sides with BJP, RSS for vote bank politics’

SRINAGAR, Sep 20: Awami National Conference (ANC) senior vice president and member civil society coordination committee, Muzzafar Shah, today said Congress has stabbed the people of Jammu and Kashmir by announcing its participation in Municipal and Panchayat elections.
In a statement he alleged that Congress also “shamelessly sided with BJP/RSS policy of linking Panchayat and local body elections with petitions on article 35A and 370 being heard in Supreme Court.
Shah said the Congress has trampled upon the resilience, honourand special rights of the people of J&K by aligning with BJP, RSS combine valuing the life of an ordinary citizen at an astonishing Rs 10 lakh. “You cannot buy even one kidney in the open market for that price, leave alone a human being. Congress has deceived the people at a critical juncture when the masses from all three regions of the state have come on a single platform to protect the state subject laws and beat the evil designs of the fascist and divisive forces in the country hell bent upon trifurcation of J&K state,” he said.
According to him, these forces have engaged in conniving through the legal channels for abrogation of article 35A and 370. “The statement of RSS chief today, stating that article 35A and 370 will be abolished should be an eye opener for all,” he said.
