JSS wins medals in Wushu and Taekwon-Do

JAMMU, Oct 5: Students of JSS Jammu brought laurels to the school in Wushu and Taekwaon-Do championships.
Muskaan Rajput won Gold medal in Wushu (Under-19), Shalvi Saini bagged Gold medal in Taekwon-Do (Under-17), Bhumi Gupta won silver in Taekwon-Do (Under-14) and Neha Bhagat participated in Wushu (Under-14) and has performed remarkably well.
The tournament was organised by District Youth Service and Sports department in Budgam, Srinagar. It is pertinent to mention here that Muskaan Rajput and Shalvi Saini not only clinched the Gold medals in their respective field but are also selected for National Wushu and National Taekwon-Do respectively, by Youth Services and Sports, which is to be held at Uttrakhand (Wushu) and Gujarat (Taekwon-Do).
Principal cum Vice-Chairperson Rohini Aima acknowledged the efforts of the Coach and students for this achievement and asserted that no doubt, success matters when put in great efforts but above all the performance catches the attention and enhances the satiation level. She congratulated the school coach Jagpreet for her sincere efforts.
