YCET organises guest lecture on "Cyber Security"

JAMMU, Oct 19: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organized an extension lecture on "Cyber Security" for B.E. 3rd and 5th Semester students of Computer Sciences & I.T.Engineering, here today.
The lecture was delivered by Er. Naveen Sharma, Director and Er. Dhivender Singh, Trainer from Jetking Hardware and Networking Institute. Both the speakers briefed the students about Cyber Security, Tor Browser, wireless network attacks.
Their main perspective was to make the students understand about the Protection of internet-connected systems, including hardware, software and data from cyber attacks. Dr. Arvind Dewagan Director of the College motivated the students.
Other faculty members of Department of Computer Sciences and IT. were also present during the extension lecture. The session ended with a vote of thanks by Er. Robin Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Sciences & I.T Engine.
