An official said that grenade attack by militants on army party and brief exchange of fire there is lull in the firing.
"Though the searches are on and lighting system has also been installed to locate the militants but so far there has been no contact established with them," the official said.
Some reports suggested that the militants have managed to escape after hurling grenade and exchanging fire with the army but a police official said that nothing can be said about whether the militants have managed to escape or are still hiding in the area.
