Khanyar youth’s family urges militant group to send him back

SRINAGAR, Nov 3: A day after a purported audio clip and a gun wielding picture of Ahtisham Bilal of Khanyar who has reportedly joined militant ranks went viral on social media, the family of B.Tech student today made fervent appeal to militant outfit to send him back home on humanitarian grounds.
It is in place to mention that Ahtisham, a 19-year old city youth had gone missing on October 26 from New Delhi and later on joined the militant ranks.
The family members of the student turned militant appealed Ansar Ghazwatul Hind Kashmir head, Zakir Musa to send their lone son back for the sake of his distressed father and inconsolable sisters.
The appeal was made through a video in which Ahtisham’s mother and sister could be seen beseeching militants to allow him to return home on the plea that he is the only son of his parents.
“For god’s sake, please allow him to return home. I cannot live without you my son come back and hold your mother,” Ahtisham’s mother said in a video which has gone viral on social media sites.
His younger sister also made a passionate appeal to his brother to return home “why did you leave us brother, who would take care of us now. Ahtisham Bhaiya please come back”
