10 Agriculture employees found absent from duty

Disciplinary action ordered against absentees

JAMMU, Nov 3: On the instructions of Director Agriculture Kashmir Syed Altaf Aijaz Andrabi, Chief Agriculture Officer Srinagar made a surprise visit of the offices in the Office Complex of Chief Agriculture Officer Srinagar and found 10 Officials absent from their legitimate duties .
The Officials which were absent include two Officials from Area Development Officer Vegetables Srinagar, 02 Officials from Mushroom Development Officer Srinagar, 01 from District Agriculture Officer Extension Srinagar, 03 from Assistant Soil Conservation Officer Srinagar and 01 Official from Apiculture Development officer Srinagar.
It has been observed that some officials are habitual late-comers and don’t perform their legitimate duties as per the official timings and due to their negligence public faces a lot of inconvenience, Chief Agriculture Officer Dr. Syed Waseem said.
Therefore in the interest of public disciplinary action has been initiated against these absentees and all of them have been placed under suspension with immediate effect, he said.

17 stolen mobile phones handed over to their actual owners by Ramban police
RAMBAN, Nov. 3: Few months various complaints with regard to missing of mobile phones are being received by IT section DPO Ramban and hue and cry was prevailing among th common masses on the issue.
By taking cognizance into the matter, SSP Ramban Smt. Anita Sharma called a special meeting of information technology section of DPO Ramban and issued necessary guidelines to nab the culprits indulged in such practices so that healthy Police Public relationship could be maintained and to
build faith among the general public launched a special drive and recovered 17 mobile phones of different models involving lakhs of amount and handed over the stolen mobile phones to their actual owners under proper receipt.
