Semis stage set in J&K State Men Volleyball Championship

JAMMU, Nov 16: JKAP, Jammu District, Kathua and Poonch have qualified for the semifinals on the 2nd Day of J&K State Senior Men Volleyball Championship at Poonch.
As many as 16 teams drawn from different districts of the state including one Police team are showing their supremacy of the game for clinching Championship title.
According to Kuldip Magotra Chief Executive officer Volleyball Association of J&K the Association as part it's annual feature conducts 2 state level Championships one for seniors and another for Junior Volleyball players in the state where as J&K state Sports Council provides grant in aid for holding one state level Championship.
Saleem Banday (AEE PHE) was the Chief Guest & Mohd. Khan (AE PDD) was the guest of honour today.
Among dignitaries RC Sharma Treasurer, Mohd Tariq Chairman Shaeed Mangit Singh Memorial Club Poonch, executive member of the Volleyball Association of J&K were present on the occasion.
The details: Baramulla bt Kulgam by 2-0.sets & score 25-14&25-18. Jammu bt Anantnag by sets 2-0. & score 25-16&25-22. JKAP BT Pulwama by 2-0 Score 25-19 & 25-12. Poonch bt Pulwama by sets 2-1. &score 25-13, 21-25 & 15-10. JKAP Bt Ramban by 2-0& score 25-12 & 25-14. Kathua bt Kulgam by 2-1 & score 25-14, 17-25 & 15-9. Rajouri bt Anantnag by sets 2-1.&score 25-16, 18-25 & 15-08. JKAP BT Srinagar 2-0 sets Score 25-12 25-08 ,Jammu Bt Baramulla 2-0 sets Score 25-17 25-23. Kathua Bt Rajouri 2-0 sets Score 25-21 25-21. Poonch Bt Udhampur 2-0 sets Score 25-14 25-14
1st semifinal: JKAP V/S Jammu District and 2nd Semi Final Kathua V/S Poonch The Final match will be played at 2.30 pm tomorrow.
