A welcoming move

Kashmir Times. Dated: 2/9/2019 12:08:05 AM

Dear Editor,
The Supreme Court's verdict of September 28, 2018 allowing female devotees of menstrual age to offer prayers at the shrine of Sabarimala, had been a subject matter for a couple of months and it sparked violent protest in Kerala state. Now the new twist came into the case when the Travancore Devaswom Board which runs the temple made a U-turn to support the SC verdict and said that the people should accept it. This decision taken by the Board is so welcoming for the women who desire to pray in hilltop shrine. So those who have been opposing the verdict must consider the current situation and let the women offer their prayers.
