PM condemns attacks on Kashmiri students

NEW DELHI, Feb 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a public rally in Rajasthan’s Tonk on Saturday said protecting Kashmiris is the duty of every Indian.
Modi’s comment came after reports surfaced on attacks on Kashmiris, who are residing outside the state after the Pulwama attack which claimed lives of 44 CRPF men in Pulwama on February 14, 2019.
National Conference chief Omar Abdullah has been asking the government to respond to the attacks on Kashmiris since the Pulwama terror attack in the valley. Responding to the opposition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condemned attacks on Kashmiris for the first time saying protecting Kashmiri is the duty of every Indian. The nation is fighting for Kashmiris, reiterated the Prime Minister
Prime Minister further said the separatists won’t win, Kashmiris want freedom from terrorism. The focus is on the protection of Kashmiri youth. Lashing out at separatists, the PM said, condemn those who live in India for Pakistan. Further, commenting on Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s callous reaction on Pulwama attach, Modi said Pulwama is a test of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s leadership.
