RC XI trounces Sharika Diagnostic club in a thrilling contest by 6 wks

JAMMU, Mar 9: The Reader`s Café Cricket Club (RC XI) trounced Sharika Diagnostic Cricket club in a thrilling contest by 6 wickets on the last ball of the match. The exhibition Match was played at Phallian Mandal ground Jammu here today.
After winning the toss, skipper of Sharika Diagnostic Cricket club, Anil Bhushan elected to bat first and team scored a challenging total of 177 runs in the allotted 20 overs, losing 4 wickets in the process. For Sharika Diagnostic Cricket club, Mukul top scored with 52 runs off 37 balls, while Shoaib scored 43 runs and Arun Zailpur scored 42 runs. For Reader`s Café Cricket Club, Retaish Sharma, Udit Khajuria & Rahil Sharma shared 1 wickets each.
Reader`s Café Cricket Club led by skipper Vivek Suri chasing a target of 178 runs, won the match on the last ball of 20th over loosing 4 wickets. Raghav Sharma of RC XI helped his team in winning the match by contributing 58 runs in just 32 balls, while Sachin Singh scored 50 runs off 36 balls and both laid solid foundation of 89 runs for the opening wicket.
Rahil Sharma scored 21 runs in just 14 balls turned the match in the last overs for RC XI. Ramesh of Sharika Diagnostic Cricket club took 2 wickets, while Arun Zailpuri took 1 wicket. Sohan Bharti was the commentator of the match.
