Territorial Army conducts Recruitment Rally at Surankote

POONCH, Mar 12: Indian Territorial Army is conducting a Recruitment Rally at Advance Landing Ground, Surankote from March 11 to 20 in Poonch.
The recruitment will be conducted to recruit soldiers for different categories to include clerks, general duty, tradesman etc. as per the rulings of the recruitment. Rally candidates from Akhnoor, Maira Mandrian, Kharh Blli, Jourian, Chowki Chowara, Khour, Sunderbani, Kalakote, Beri Pattan, Qilla-Darhal, Siot, Nowshera, Darhal, Thanamandi, Koteranka, Taryath, Khawas, Manjakote, Mahore, Chassana, Thuroo, Haveli, Mandi, Mankote, Balakote, Mendhar and Surankote will be appearing in a phased manner.
Despite inclement weather condition and security situation in the region for past three weeks, the youth turned up in large numbers to appear for the recruitment. The enthusiasm and spirit of the candidates clearly reflects their desire for personal progression while having faith in the governance. Employment being a major cause of concern for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, the rally has received over whelming response and support from the district administration for smooth conduct of the event.
