Mehbooba asks Modi

SRINAGAR, Apr 14: Former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti today asked the prime minister Narendra Modi why does the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stitch alliances with the political families if he and his party are against the “dynastic” rule.
“Why does PM bash political families pre-elections & then sends his envoys to stitch alliances with the very same parties? NC in 99 & PDP in 2015. Why do they choose power over Article 370 then? BJP with its noxious agenda of banishing Muslims & minorities wants to divide India (sic),” Mehbooba questioned PM Modi on twitter.
Later talking to media persons, Mehbooba said before elections Modi criticises Abdullah and Mufti families but after polls forms coalition governments with them. "After the last assembly elections BJP begged Mufti sahib to form coalition government with them in Jammu and Kashmir. Ram Madhav camped in the state for two months for the purpose," she said.
Mehbooba stated that for power BJP agreed not to touch Article 370, review AFSPA, hold talks with Pakistan and Hurriyat. "And now they are criticising Mufti sahab," she said.
The PDP president added that in 1999, BJP urged NC to make Omar Abdullah minister of state for foreign affairs so that he can propogate India's view on Kashmir at international level.
She said that India is a country of Gandhi and not the country of Modi and Amit Shah who divide people and create hatred.
