Wushu selection trial for Juniors, seniors boys conducted

JAMMU, May 11: Wushu Association of J&K organised Selection trial for Juniors and seniors boys and girls at Indoor stadium Srinagar on May 10.
Almost 200 players across the state participated in the selection trial.30 players (Boys and Girls) have been shortlisted for the selection trial to be organized by the Wushu Association of India at Sports Authority of India (SAI) for the selection in the National. Coaching camp for the Junior Asian championship to be held at Brunie and 15th World sushi championship to be held at Shanghai.
The Manager indoor Mushtaq Zargar flagged off the team and wished them best of luck for the trials and he also appreciated wushu Association of J&K for organising selection trial at Indoor stadium Srinagar to get the better stuff the further selection for the National squad.
Pertinent to mention here that during the last junior world championship at Brazil, J&K Wushu player got its first ever medal for the state where as similarly in the 14th World Wushu championship at Kazan (Russia) 02 players of J&K state secured bronze medals for the state.
