PDP worker shot at, injured in Kulgam

SRINAGAR, May 19: Unidentified gunmen this evening shot at and critically injured a PDP worker at Zungalpora area of Kulgam district.
Reports said that the gunmen fired upon PDP worker identified as Mohammad Jamal Bhat in Zungalpora area of Kulgam, leaving him critically wounded.
An official said he was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment with multiple bullet wounds and his condition is stated to be critical.
Soon after the incident, a joint team of forces launched a cordon-and-search operation in the area to nab the assailants.
