2 bodies recovered in South Kashmir

SRINAGAR, Jun 7: Two bodies were recovered in South Kashmir.
One of the deceased was drowned and the other, a non-¬local, had reportedly died under mysterious circumstances.
Reports said 65-year-old man was drowned in a nallah at Shirmal area of Shopian district on Friday.
The deceased was later identified as Mohammad Ismail Kumar, 65, son of Mohammad Ramzan Kumar of Heff Shirmal who slipped inside the nallah and drowned while he was performing ablutions.
Soon after the mishap, local volunteers rushed to the spot and immediately launched searches to trace out the body. However, after hectic efforts, the locals retrieved the body of the deceased from the nallah near Litter in neighbouring Pulwama district.
Meanwhile, the body of a non-local was recovered under mysterious conditions from Tengwani area of Keegam in Shopian. After conducting the medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased has been shifted to PCR Srinagar for further necessary action.
