Strong and Visible Impact of grading system under Zimedari project, Schools started redefining their structures

BHADERWAH, Jun 16: With an aim to improve the quality of school buildings in general and education imparted in the schools in particular, district administration Doda under supervision and able guidance of DDC DODA Dr Sagar D Doifode had initiated a project under tagline Zimidari:let us reform our schools month ago and is going on across the district for reforming education sector in overall manner. The main focus of the project is to reshape the school buildings under the theme BALA (building as a learning aid) which will make school buildings so much attractive in order to gain the attention of students at larger level and to decrease the dropout issue which is one of the main reason of under performance of Govt institutions.
Other innovative attribute of the Zimedari project which is unique in itself and has been launched for the first time in the state, is to Grade all the govt schools across the district, which has been already started couple of days ago,for which DIET Doda has been appointed as the executing agency,which has further appointed teams to grade the schools in A,B,C,D and E category to take stock of information about the present condition of the school and to recommend the measures to take the least performing school to next level. It is pertinent to mention that the parameters to grade the schools are already identified by the administration which will work as the guiding principles for the grading teams to fulfil the task of grading.
Other attributes which are taken care under Zimedari project are beautification of schools, creation of kitchen gardens inside the premises of school,focus on extra co curricular activities,sports activities,etc.Below are some pictures which can give us clear understanding about the changes before and after.
