Govt Polytechnic Jammu celebrated teachers day

JAMMU, Sep 5: Government Polytechnic Jammu celebrated Teacher day with great zeal and fervour on September 5th 2019 in the college Auditorium. The function was presided over by Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal of the college. The celebration began with lighting of the lamp and giving tributes to Dr. S Radhakrishnan. Er. Arun Bangotra while addressing the entire college highlighted the role of teachers in the nation building and lauded entire staff for their exemplary contribution to the college phenomenal success. The students presented a cultural programme for teachers which includes group dance by girls, play, songs, bhangra, musical chair etc. The beautiful cultural programme organised by students made the teachers and audience mesmerized. At the end of program, certificate and trophies were distributed among teachers for their extraordinary service and exemplary work in their respective fields. Those who got the award were Er Ajay Thapa Lecturer Mechanical, Er Rameez Rashid Demonstrator Computer Department, Er Ankush Langer Demonstrator Electrical Department, Er. Jasdeep Kaur Lecturer I&C Department, Er. Rishab and Dr. Deepak Gupta Demonstrator Civil Department, Ar. Manu Rajput Demonstrator Architecture Department, Mr. Dhiraj Kumar T&T Department, Er Navdeep Sharma Automobile Department, Shri Naryan Workshop Instructor, Mr. Ankush Gupta Lecturer Chemistry. Award of honour was presented to Er. Sanjay Gupta HOD Electrical Department, Er. Vinay Gupta HOD/Incharge Academics, Ar. Ritika Wadhera HOD Architecture Department, Er. KS Bhatia HOD Mechanical Department. All the HODs, Staff and students were present in the function.
