‘Militant’ arrested from Baramulla

SRINAGAR, Nov 2: A militant was arrested by security forces from Baramulla district, police said.
Danish Ahmad Channa was apprehended during an operation in Sopore area last night and one pistol and one hand grenade were recovered from his possession, they said.
A case under relevant sections of the law has been registered against him and investigations started, the police said. Reports said he had joined militancy one month back.
On Thursday, two overground workers of militants were arrested by security forces in Baramulla district.
