While administration claimed to have lifted restrictions everywhere barring some sensitive pockets, deployment of police and paramilitary forces is yet to be reduced on roads at several places in Srinagar and elsewhere.
It is pertinent to mention here that centre repealed provisions of Article 370 and divided Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories on August 5. Stringent restrictions were imposed in twin capitals of erstwhile state and all modes of communication suspended.
Authorities also ordered closure of all educational institutions while additional forces were called in to deal with the situation.
